Set across 15,500 acres of private Yorkshire countryside, Wallingfen offers one of the most enjoyable and well-run days in the field. Based on the Risby Estate near Beverley, designed with both challenge and enjoyment in mind, our days combine outstanding birds with relaxed luxury – the kind of experience that keeps guns returning year after year. Our drives provide a memorable experience for guns of all abilities – from first-timers to seasoned shots.

A typical day includes:

  • Morning coffee and introductions from 9:00am

  • 4 to 5 drives offering a range of exciting sport

  • Drinks and light bites in the field

  • A further 2 drives before retiring for a generous buffet lunch

  • Hot and cold refreshments available throughout the day

  • We generally shoot bags of 150 to 200, with 7 to 9 guns standing

In addition to our own estate, we can arrange bespoke sporting outings at other premier shoots across the UK through our trusted network of partners. From intimate private gatherings to large corporate events, we pride ourselves on delivering a complete, high-quality experience with seamless planning and exceptional hospitality.

Availability

We offer both weekday and Saturday dates, with:

  • Partridge days throughout September

  • Mixed partridge and pheasant days from 1st October onwards
